Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and results driven YouTube Video Editor to produce high quality

long form content focused on audience engagement and channel growth. This role is ideal for

someone who understands YouTube strategy, retention editing and visual storytelling while also

supporting short form content creation across Instagram and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities

● Edit long form YouTube videos with engaging pacing, storytelling and clean structure

● Create strong video hooks and attention grabbing openings

● Design eye catching thumbnails that improve click through rates

● Optimise video titles, tags and descriptions for YouTube SEO

● Analyse YouTube performance metrics including retention and watch time

● Repurpose content into YouTube Shorts and social media clips

● Stay updated with YouTube trends and platform best practices

● Maintain visual consistency across all content assets

Requirements

● Proven YouTube editing experience with a portfolio of work

● Strong understanding of YouTube growth and retention strategies

● Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve

● Experience with Photoshop or similar design tools

● Understanding of short form and long form content formats

● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

● Experience working with educational, business or finance content preferred

● Previous experience growing a YouTube channel is advantageous
