Position Overview

We are seeking a creative Video Content Specialist to lead the editing and optimisation of YouTube content. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of digital storytelling, audience engagement and YouTube channel performance.

Responsibilities

● Edit long form YouTube content for engagement and retention

● Structure videos with effective storytelling and pacing

● Create thumbnails that drive higher click through rates

● Apply YouTube SEO best practices across uploads

● Review channel analytics and recommend improvements

● Adapt content into Shorts, Instagram Reels and TikTok videos

● Keep up with content trends and competitor activity

● Ensure all content reflects brand tone and quality standards

Candidate Requirements

● Proven experience in video editing for YouTube creators or brands

● Strong knowledge of audience retention strategies

● Proficient in professional editing software

● Graphic design experience for thumbnail creation

● Understanding of social media content optimisation

● Self motivated with strong communication skills

● Experience with finance, education or business content beneficial

● Previous channel management experience highly regarded
