Medical Staffing and Recruitment Consultant

Working Hours: 11:30 pm to 8:00 am South African time
Monthly Salary: R28 000 depending on experience
Incentives: Commission and performance bonuses once established

About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Medical Staffing and Recruitment Consultant to support a growing recruitment business operating within the Australian healthcare sector.

We are looking for a confident recruitment professional with proven 360 recruitment experience and a strong background in doctor recruitment.

You will be responsible for identifying medical talent, managing client relationships and delivering successful recruitment outcomes while contributing to the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the full recruitment process from business development and client acquisition through to successful placement.
• Develop new business opportunities within the healthcare sector.
• Build trusted relationships with healthcare organisations and medical professionals.
• Identify client staffing requirements and recommend suitable recruitment solutions.
• Source and engage qualified doctors through headhunting, professional networking and recruitment platforms.
• Conduct detailed candidate screening and interviews.
• Assess candidate experience, career aspirations, motivations and suitability.
• Present high quality candidate shortlists with informed recommendations.
• Manage interview coordination, feedback and offer negotiations.
• Achieve individual recruitment and business development targets.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate information.

Essential Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing a full 360 recruitment desk.
• Proven recruitment experience specifically within doctor recruitment.
• Strong client engagement and business development capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Experience sourcing and qualifying medical professionals.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ability to provide professional career advice and candidate support.
• Commercial confidence and a results driven approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple recruitment processes.
• Commitment to working Australian business hours with additional flexibility when required.

Preferred Experience

International recruitment experience is highly desirable, particularly experience supporting clients across different time zones. Previous exposure to JobAdder would be beneficial.
